AFM 250 is a fast and efficient bio mass processing head. Due to AFM 250’s compact design and continuous rotator , it is very handy in even on dense thinning operations. The grapple jaws of are designed for easy loading and unloading. The head is equipped with a high-speed service friendly shear unit which ensures reliable cutting in any condition. Multi handling grapples allow accumulating several stems in the head before felling them on the ground or straight on the forwarder. Due to its flexible hydraulic and control system, AFM 250 can be installed on a large variety of base machines such as wheeled harvesters, combi machines, small size excavators or forwarders.
