AFM 550 FH is compact size dangle felling head for operations in which feeding and delimbing is not necessary. It is used for example for hazard tree removal close to the roads and powerlines. Compact size of the head and low oil flow requirement makes possible to install the AFM 550 FH in almost all applications from mobile cranes to excavator or forwarders.
Standard configuration of AFM 550 FH does include hydraulic package which have own blocks for all functions which means that pressure and tank lines are all you need from base machine, no separate drain line needed. AFM 550 FH can be equipped also with AFM Radio Control system which ensures easy installation in all machines without extra boom cables.
AFM 550 FH does have two different saw box options which ensures best possible geometry for felling and processing work without compromises. When AFM 550 FH is used for energy wood collecting it can be equipped with multi tree handling arms.
